Success Story!! PID Temperature Controller With Bluetooth App

Hey Friends!
I developed a PID temperature controller. I designed the circuit board and 3D
printed the case. This product is for myself and friends to use. I have sold 12
and have enough parts to build 24 more. The circuit board uses the Atmel 328P
microcontroller (of course) and max31855 thermocouple measurement IC as well as
the HC-06 bluetooth module. I use a PID library to control the temperature of a
device by pulsing a relay. I can thank the contributors of MIT ai2 for the
great software that allowed me to build my app so myself and friends can adjust
the temperature of their device remotely! Attached are pictures of the device
and a screenshot of the app!
Well more and more people have been asking me for an iPhone app and iPhone only
supports BLE 4.0, which the hc-06 module is not. I replaced the hc-06 for an
hm-10 BLE module so I can start iOS development. Communication between the
bluetooth module and phone is just 1 simple string. I have successfully gotten
it to work by sending the string with the BLE apps that allow raw data input.
Now that all my energy is focused on this small "business", and iOS
app I have to leave android in the dust :/ is anyone willing to please join my
team and help with a plugin for my app or some solution for BLE? like i said i
have gotten it to work its just sends one simple string.
Some information about me, I am 23 years old and study computer engineering
technology at Kent State University in Ohio. I have a friend studying
mechatonics design the 3D case, another friend studying visual communication
design, design the logo, app and website, and another friend studying
entrepreneurship trying to kick it all off. A lot of time and effort went into
this project.
