Can we do the app invetor 1 tutorials in app inventor 2? Will they work okay?

Can you do the app inventor 1 tutorials in App Inventor2?  The simple answer is it is not very practical.  You can use the logic information in the AI Classic tutorials, however youhave to 'translate' the AI blocks into AI2 blocks.  This translation is not easy for most beginners and would certainly confuse a beginner trying to program with AI2 Blocks..

You might want to read this post about AI Classic 'courses'  https://groups.google.com/forum/#!category-topic/mitappinventortest/SFri4m3Wmpw   Please read both posts.  If you feel you have to use a Classic Tutorial (I do not recommend doing so because there are so many AI2 tutorials available) you might read this advice AI to AI2 conversion

Translating AI blocks to AI2 blocks from an AI Tutorial is probably very frustrating.
