heart beats

Hello.

I was wondering if someone could help me . I need to create an application that records the heart beats.

An Android device alone cannot  record heart rate.  It can record sounds but has no sensor.   However take a look at the arduino  https://www.google.com/search?q=arduino+record+heartbeat&oq=arduino+record+heartbeat&aqs=chrome..69i57.6639j0j7&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=93&ie=UTF-8#    

Used in conjunction with an Android phone/tablet, the arduino and the array of sensors available for it possibly could do what you want to do.
