chart maker extension failed in apk mode!

hi guys
i work with chart maker extension Developed by Kate Manning and Emily Kager

my problem is when i use this real time in AI companion everything work fine but when i use it in apk  mode it doesnt show anything!
i try something and when i use it in apk mode but my wifi is turned on, it works fine!
does it smt to do with webviewer ?
because i plot my graph in web viewer !

The Chart Maker extension has not rendered when building an apk for some time (at least prior to nb169)   This is not a recent issue.  Extensions must be maintained compatible with the current build of App Inventor and it appears Chart Maker is either not up to date or Google changed how their charts work.  A PROBLEM with extensons is that some of them become inoperable if their developer(s) do not maintain them (keep them current).

For the moment, use one of the other methods available to developers for producing charts.

So, what you are saying is the APK version does work if your device is connected to the internet via wifi?

That says to me that the extension might be dependent on an online script, so it is working as designed but perhaps the design could be better to avoid the need for an internet connection and avoid the fact that Google scripts are sometimes moved to a different URL.

You do not need an extension to use Google Charts, search for them and have a read. What type of chart do you need? You can probably DIY simple ones like bar charts with App inventor, just figure it out with pen and paper first.

thanks d\for your respond, my problem is that i should connect somehow to a local network and have access to internet (no matter with wifi or mobile data) if i connected, the chart maker work fine but if its now, grapgh does not apear and just a blank page shown!

Sorry.  You did not read the response.  The Chart extension  no longer works with App Inventor on some versions of Android  ChartMaker works on my 7.0 but not my 4.2.2 Tablet
