Reading/writing nfc tags

I am unable to read or write nfc tags in ai2. When I tap on a tag, an android message comes up saying "New tag scanned" and displays the text from the tag. This data never gets to my app. I have downloaded and tried the cup game tutorial, same result. Whats up with that?

Hello everyone,

wanting to test the functionality of NFC App Inventor 2 I downloaded from the official website the app "NFC cup game" to try NFC Mifare Ultralight tags that I bought on Ebay recently.

When I tap, however, the NFC tag to my smartphone, the display shows the error "type unknown tag" as if they did not recognize it.

Has anyone had similar experiences with NFC tags?
