How to know the version of App Inventor Extensions and how to replace it ?

I'm very glad to use good App Inventor Extensions, but have few questions.

1. How to check the version of Extension?

  How to check the version of downloaded file or imported Extension?

2. How to replace old Extension to New one?

  At BLE Extension, few days ago, its seems version up and some functions interface changed.

  Remove old Extension from my project and next inport new Extension are the right way?

Hi Mita,

You can click on the ? icon next to the extension name in the palette to get a popup with information about the extension. This will include the version number of the extension (20171109 in the image below).

To upgrade to a new version of an extension, you should import the new version of the extension. Do not delete the old version as this will remove all of the associated instances/blocks and you will have to redo your work. When you import the new version, the extension's contents will be updated. Any blocks that have changed to make your project incompatible will be highlighted in red in the blocks editor.
