Hello everyone,
This message is for those of you who are publishing apps made with MIT App Inventor to the Google Play Store. If you don't publish apps in the Play Store, the information in this message does not apply to you.
Starting on November 1st, any upgrades to apps on Google Play must target SDK 28. This requirement has already been enforced on new apps since August 1st. Since the end of July, our buildservers have been building apps to target SDK 28. If you are looking to publish an update to your app, any recent build should already meet the Google Play requirements. To test your apps in live development mode, you will need to use companion 2.54 or 2.54u or newer to experience any SDK 28 behaviors. Most apps should not need any changes to make the compatible with this update.
