Hello,

I want to connect my Nexus 7 tablet (released in 2013) running with Android 6.0.1 OS with the Arduino 101 via the BlueTooth Low Energy 4.0.  I found a link pointing me to the MIT App Inventor 2 that has the BLE1 component that still in a pre-release testing state.  The link is located at http://ble-test.appinventor.mit.edu/.  However, this ble-test version of MIT App Inventor 2 only run with the Companion Version 2.36cdk1.  Does anyone know where I can download the Companion Version 2.36cdk1?.  Companion Version 2.36 in Google Play does not work with the BLE-TEST AI2 Inventor at http://ble-test.appinventor.mit.edu.

Thank you very much,

to test the BLE component, you should use the test server at http://ai2-test.appinventor.mit.edu.

You can download the companion app from the Help menu - Companion information.

Hello there,

I am confused.  The test server link you provided - http://ai2-test.appinventor.mit.edu does not included the BLE component called BluetoothLE.  Only the ble-test link at http://ble-test.appinventor.mit.edu has the bluetooth component BluetoothLE in the connectivity folder.

Please advise!

Got it.  Thank you very much.  I was looking in the connectivity drawer instead of the experimental drawer where the BluetoothLE component is now located.
