Hey Everyone,

I've downloaded this app called bass booster (it's a general mixer & adds reverb etc) and I'm wondering if app inventor works with it.

I've run the app inventor sounds and I think it changes the mix (it's a bit hard to hear though) but the reverb doesn't change (at least not to my ears).

I'm assuming it runs this (http://developer.android.com/reference/android/media/audiofx/PresetReverb.html) as all the reverb presets are the same on the bass booster app.

Any reasons why this would be the case, or should I be looking out for another app? Any advice in general?

Cheers,

Thomas

I think you will have to do your own testing to find the answer as that app is likely proprietary and I would expect that AI accesses the standard sound devices and drivers.
If that app somehow seamlessly inserts code to modify the sound services, then AI may work with it, or not.

Thanks Scott, somehow it manages to change the eq (after a bit of trialling). Unfortunately still not luck with the reverbs but apparently they don't work with all versions of android or phone models, so it's probably an issue on my end.
