Running Windows 7
Android device is an LGE Android MTP Device - VS980 4G LTE
Android version = 4.4.2
Developer Options are "ON"
It IS connected to the PC, Windows recognizes it, I can see the files in the device via explorer
I updated the drivers for Windows 7

I have "aiStarter" running, I get the following:
127.0.0.1 - - [09/Oct/2014 17:08:17] "GET /ucheck/ HTTP/1.1" 200 38

I have the aiCompanion running on my phone.

I have done everything I have read in blogs, but I cannot connect from "MIT App Inventor" to my phone.

What am I missing? I think I have tried everything that I have found to have been suggested, but it still will not connect.

Thank you

Did you turn USB Debugging on on your device?   Step 4 here:  http://appinventor.mit.edu/explore/ai2/setup-device-usb.html

Step 4: Set up your device for USB (Turn USB Debugging ON)

On your Android device, go to System Settings, Developer Options, turn them on, and be sure that "USB Debugging" is allowed.

On most devices running Android 3.2 or older, you can find this option under Settings > Applications > Development.

On Android 4.0 and newer, it's in Settings > Developer options.

Note: On Android 4.2 and newer, Developer options is hidden by default. To make it available, go to Settings > About phone and tap Build number seven times. Return to the previous screen to find Developer options, including "USB Debugging".

Also, with my phone, I sometimes find I have to unplug from the PC and put the plug back in again before my tablet is recognized.  Also, although I think you are doing this, make sure aiStarter is running before you attempt to connect.

Regards,
Steve
