Reading WhatsApp message information

Hi

As part of my university research work, I would like to read different types of WhatsApp message information (not the messages themselves).

For example, how many text, audio, and video messages received? When received? When viewed? etc.

Being a newbie, I started working on AI2 and .... thats great.

I tried with ActivityStarter and it works (starts WhatsApp) but I don't want to start (and display) it, just want to monitor different statistics of whatsapp messages.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

as far as I know, there is no Whatsapp API, which means, you will not be able to do something like that...
