No sound using TTS with Android 5.1

There is no sound when using text to speech in Android 5.1. It does sounds with previous Android versions.

Are you sure that you have TTS enabled on your phone and are using the right language settings in AI?

I'm not sure if TTS is enabled on my phone. I've installed Google Text-to-speech Engine 3.8.16 but it still doesn't work. My phone is a Dogee HT6.

Any idea?

Hi Diego,
You may want to check if there are other apps that do work on your phone, for example the talk to me app: http://appinventor.mit.edu/explore/ai2/beginner-videos.html
Also look at the language settings, there were problems in the past where the default language is not what you think it is. It may be a good idea to set the language and country during initialization if the language is not English.
