How to consume video stream from Raspberry PI camera?

Hi,

I have a program running in Raspberry Pi that streams video (Pi Camera).

The streaming video URL is like http://192.168.1.196:8160. (note that there is no file name). I tried using the 'Player' and 'Video Player' control. but I am unable to receive the stream.

Is there a way to receive the stream? or a workaround?

I believe the video player requires a fully qualified url with a filename at the end...

There is some html5 / javascript out there that might work in a webviewer if you are using a high version of Android (e.g. 9 )
