How do I find web url's ?

I can't figure out how to get to a specific web site component to GET info.

There is a tutorial that uses (for Yahoo finance) a url shown here:

Where did the  author find this url?  In general, how are they found?

Is there a reference/help file on this ?

In a word... Google.  You need to find a webpage or other such URL that contains the stuff you want to use in your app. Whatever that stuff is. Sometimes a URL will give you exactly what you need. Mostly you'll have to dig it out of a bunch of other HTML contained in the page/URL.  Once you've located a page or site that provides what you need then copy the URL from your Browser's address bar.
