clock stop working after phone screen goes off

Hi,

I'm building an app that helps to brew beers.

One part of the app is a countdown watch, i use the clock object and i set the "TimerAlwaysFires" property to True, but unfortunately when the phone screen goes off the clock stops.

Is there a way to make the clock continue count even after the phone screen goes off?

Apps made with App Inventor 2 can't run in the background yet. Search the forum for how to prevent the screen from going to sleep or off.

no, but you could keep the screen on using the tools extension https://puravidaapps.com/tools.php and its KeepScreenOn method
