upload extension

i've tried to upload extension in here

from Taifun site

for example this extension

and when i'm uploadin the aix file i'm getting an error

that this is not a component file and i can't upload this extension

what is the problem?

what am i doing wrong?

MIT discovered that when the Companion version changes, the aix is no longer valid ..

MIT will have to fix this before the extension feature can be released

Therefore I will have to rebuild my extensions before you can use it with the current App Inventor version

I will let you know as soon I did this

You are probably doing nothing wrong Tomer.   Taifun's aix is not compatible with Companion 2.35 and AI2 146e.at the moment.  I suspect his extension is out of date -- it will need to be rebuilt to reflect MIT's latest changes to the extensions system.  A problem with using the Extensions in their present experimental form is they are sensitive to Companion/AI2 versions.   Try experimenting with the MIT extensions here that are updated.  The extensions mentioned here

should would, and Taifun's will too as soon as he updates it I imagine.  Be aware the Extensions are experimental and they are not ready for prime time

I now rebuilt my extensions for App Inventor version ai2extensions4 and Companion version 2.33.cdk2. Enjoy!
