I'm using MIT App Inventor 2 (web) to programme an app. On the other side, I installed AI Companion in the Chromebook (model: CB311-7HT).

However, when I open AI Companion, it shows at the "Your IP Address is: 0.0.0.0" and I cannot get any connection between MIT App Inventor (web) and the AI Companion in the Chromebook, neither through "connect with code" nor "scan QR code".

I tried to install old version of AI Companion in the Chromebook and set MIT App Inventor 2 (web) as one of the white-list of school router, but it is still not working. Besides, I also tried to use Developer mode in the Chromebook and it doesn't work too.

Did anyone encounter this problem and know how to solve it? Thanks a lot!

Can you make this clear?

The only way to develop App Inventor apps is via a browser, Firefox or Chrome is best. A browser on a chromebook shoold be fine I think.
However, for the companion to work, it must be installed on an Android device and communicate via Wifi (on the same Wifi network) with this browser.
Maybe it would work on two Chromebooks (it being an Android device), but not on one, because you are not communicating via Wifi.

If I totally misunderstood what you are trying to do, please explain.
Cheers, Ghica.
