hello ever one

i wanna make an app in a way that : when the icon pressed no screen opens, but just four other icons appear. after one of those 4 buttons pressed, the app disappears and works
i thought to have a transparent screen or no screen. Or before the app starts, take a screenshot automatically and make that as background image
but no way i know how to?

or maybe after the app icon pressed, the screen closes immediately in order not to be seen, but the program works with the 4 buttons

There always is a screen, of course. How do you imagine those four buttons? Are they floating on the phone screen?
You could take a screenshot when no apps are open and make that into your background image, to give the impression of transparency.
Otherwise, you have a chicken and egg problem: when you open the app, you can take a screenshot og the background of the app itself, but before you open the app, you cannot take a screenshot using the app.
Cheers, Ghica.

I tested all 4 possibilities of background color, and never achieved transparency:
(make color ...)
0,0,0,0
0,0,0,255
255,255,255,0
255,255,255,255

It doesn't look possible

Is this what you wanted demo vid

You will need to make use of Third Party Applications to achieve this...

In fact, there is a possibility to specify "none" as background color for the screen, but if you do, you will get black as background color.
Maybe Boban knows how to do this specific third party stuff. You would have to pay only when you would use a paid app for it. The problem with such an approach is that your user must install a second app to use yours,
Cheers, Ghica.

that's not required

you only have to modify the manifest of your app and AppToMarket can help you with that. @Boban probably can say more what exactly needs to be modified?

By the way, AI2 apps cannot run in the background.

Please search for "Running in the Background." for more info..
