gvHelper does not work with the Andoroid texting components outside the United States (Google policy).   Also, gvHelper's latest version does not work totally with the Texting component
even in the US.

See http://ai2.appinventor.mit.edu/reference/components/social.html#Texting   where the documentation indicates

If the GoogleVoiceEnabled property is true, messages can be sent over Wifi using Google Voice. This option requires that the user have a Google Voice account and that the mobile Voice app is installed on the phone. The Google Voice option works only on phones that support Android 2.0 (Eclair) or higher.             and should indicate that GV is only usable in the US with the texting component.

I expect that the sms capability of GV is no longer available ...a Google change ... there is some discussion on the Web that GV was changing and might no longer be available for some services.

MIT has not revised its documentation regarding using the Texting component.

Regards,

Steve

I would double-check your configuration of your Texting component. The error in question can only be triggered if you have the GoogleVoice option enabled (check your blocks, too). If you continue to have issues even if it is false, try reconnecting the Companion app to make sure it's gotten the latest code.
