Hi,

I'm currently having trouble with app inventor when I connect my device over WiFi. This app is for a school project, so a quick response is appreciated. The problem I'm having is to do with the screen size. Here are some pictures to explain the situation better.

The image to the left of this text is the size that represents the computer.

This image to the left of this text shows how much of the screen displays on the table. The circle I was drawn is roughly the area of which the app emulates onto the table. I have moved all my images that are necessary for this app into that corner as like I said, that is the only area of display.

I don't know what to do as this is why I'm asking the forum. I would also like to say a massive thank you for all the responses in advance to this post.

Try this, at the present, you are probably using Fixed Sizing of the Screen ... On the Designer, to the Properties on the right side of the browser, change Fixed to Responsive  perhaps.

That might fix your issue Callum.    If it does not, you need to provide a better explanation so Forum users can help.

Regards,
Steve

After you select Responsive sizing, tick the checkbox 'Check to see preview on tablet size' above your numbers which will give you a larger screen to move things around on.

Hi

Thanks for the responses. I was looking on another forum and I saw about changing it to responsive, but I don't know where to change it. I looked in the height and width but its not there. So if you could show me where to find the responsive button I would be glad to try it but I can't find it. Sorry but I'm fairly knew this this kind of work.

Thanks in advanced.

Once you choose "responsive," all screens will be set to responsive.  You can't pick and choose.

You set the Responsive Mode on Screen1's (and ONLY Screen1) properties...
