Build bug (buttons become transparently)

Hello everyone!

A few days ago I have decided to modify one of my projects and I have noticed some issue. When I have tested app using USB connection all is fine, but when I build and install app all buttons on the 2nd and 3rd screens become transparently. (app hes three screens) Buttons on the main screen look fine. Can anybody fix it?

That does not sound good. It might be related to the Theme used - you could try the "Classic" Theme instead for example.

Given that you have found a serious bug, would you mind making a tiny example Project for us that demonstrates the issue?

I have used exactly "Classic" Theme. I have check it twice but I do not see this bug with tiny project. So I send you my original project.

On a Galaxy Note 8 with Android 9 I have no issues.

Can someone check the issue?

(Issue is next: all buttons on the screens called "Controller_settings" and "Connection_settings" became transparantaly after the building .apk. When I yue USB connection all buttons looks fine)

I notice the Background Color attribute of Vertical Arrangements 1 & 2 in your

settings screens changes to black, like your button text color.

The Screen1 background colors are white.

Black text on a black background sounds like a problem to me.

The problem appears only after build and install the .apk file. When I test app using USB connection all is fine.

If you want real help, you should post an .aia and remove the .apk

Posting apk's is against forum policy and we cannot do anything with it.

On my phone everything looks fine: Moto one vision, Android 9. Both Companion and apk.

I do not know what could be done. There are and have been problems with the themes, not necessarily AI bugs.

Is there a theme that would work alright for you?

I have made some small adjustments, see attached aia, build the apk and and check if it works on your device ...

I see thet you changed theme to "Device default" -- all buttons looks correctly, but I do not like how other visual elements look in this theme.

The bug appears with the "Classic" theme. 

I want to remind that there is no problem with "Classic" theme using USB connection and this bug has not been earlier. When I install old .apk (which was builded approximately a year ago) there is no bug.

Since Theme Classic will not be a problem on most devices, you should make a compromise to work on all devices and Android versions. I have a lot of test devices (Android 4 - 9) and on all there is no problem.
But there are more than 20,000 devices ...
