Hello,
My name is Lisan Hasnain and I am a blind user of app inventor.
As I was creating my app, I found quite a few accessibility issues with the site itself. More importantly, with screen readers such as Voiceover for Mac, NVDA, and JAWS for windows.
Part of the app creation process requires to drag and drop elements in to the specific app screens. I am unable to drag and drop the elements with my screen readers. It would be more beneficial to make these elements copy and pasteable. Also, if the the specific elements of the app creator could be made more interactive, that would be great.
Furthermore, the app creator is cluttered and difficult to navigate.
Other then that, everything else is excellent.
Thank you for your help.

Hi Lisan,

The developers have been discussing the feasibility of using screen readers for blind developers for several years.   Here are some links https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/mitappinventortest/screen$20reader$20blind%7Csort:date

Someone from MIT will comment on the current state of feasibility and future plans.  MIT understand the problem and would like to help; I guess the visual nature of Blocks makes that very difficult.

Regards,
Steve
