LOGIN CONNECT TO MYSQL DATABASE

Hello!

Good day everyone! Someone help me with this please!  I don't know how to create an application that can login and register. Last time I already did my register page but I don't know how to connect, get data from my database and compare it to the input by the user. 

Can someone send me a sample of how to do this or some advice and comments? That would be a great help!!
