 i have tried changing the pitch it does nothing what do i do to get male-sounding voice

If you code using the professional Android Studio, you could do

and change the TTS voice using 3rd party voice engines.

What is possible with App Inventor is limited.  Vary the the speed and pitch to get the email voice to sound huskier .

You are doing all that is possible until Google provides a switchable gender option.
