Hi everyone,
I want to know that whether it is possible to connect payment gateway interface with app developed in ai2?
If yes, then how can I do it?
Thanks for all the replies in advance

in case this is a RESTful API, then most probably you can do it with the web component

Hi Taifun thx for ur reply.
BT this link is not useful to me as according to this I must have website which uses payment gateway n I have to call that website in web component.
Or 2nd option given is to use Google pay service which i don't want to use.

What I want is to include payment gateway for credit card ,debit card, visa card, mastero card and rupay card.
So whether is it possible in AI2?

AND if it is not possible in AI2 then u can send me demo or snippet for android studio also.
I WL develop over there.

for a simple Paypal solution see here https://groups.google.com/d/msg/mitappinventortest/koCvm0y1IZo/Jr8oiqnOufoJ

Another method is to use the web component and the Paypal REST API, however you will get live access only with a Paypal business acccount, see also the Paypal Developer Agreement https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/ua/xdeveloper-full?country.x=US&locale.x=en_US

But you have to consider, if you like to publish on Google Play, probably Google does not like other Payment solutions?

  • In-app purchases:
    • Developers offering virtual goods or currencies within a game downloaded from Google Play must use Google Play's in-app billing service as the method of payment.
    • Developers offering additional content, services or functionality within another category of app downloaded from Google Play must use Google Play's in-app billing service as the method of payment, except:
      • where payment is primarily for physical goods or services (e.g., buying movie tickets, or buying a publication where the price also includes a hard copy subscription); or
      • where payment is for digital content or goods that may be consumed outside of the app itself (e.g., buying songs that can be played on other music players).

Developers must not mislead users about the apps they are selling nor about any in-app services, goods, content or functionality they are selling.

To continue on what Taifun had stated, Google has zero-tolerance for violating their Terms of Service (ToS) and will just unpublish app and also reserve rights to suspend the account.
