Are you seeing that message in the AI Starter???

That was a message that was in the old starter... I believe it was removed in a later build than the one you're running.  In addition, your app is limited to 5 (FIVE) MB, so that's an inconsequential message anyway... that's why it was removed.  Your AIA file cannot be bigger than 5MB, period.  If you need lots of assets, there are methods to get more data in upon first run of your app.  Here are some solutions from Hossein & Taifun on Taifun's pages: http://puravidaapps.com/filebyfile.php

If you ARE seeing that in the AI Starter, just come back and let us know.  You may have to do a reinstall of the software...

Apparently, it was removed from the Windows version of the Starter and not the Mac version... It's an innocuous message...

Just ignore it...

Still, watch how big your project gets!

Export it to an AIA file:

To Export Your Project to an AIA file...

  1. Click on the My Projects link at the top of the UI:
  2. When the list of projects shows up, put a check mark by the project you want to export
  3. Then click on the Project link (notice that they're similarly named but not the same)
  4. Choose Export selected project (.aia) to my computer...

That's it.  The file will be saved where all of your other downloads are saved, and it will have the format YourProjectName.aia!

It's the size of that file that matters.  Usually it's files you've added that make it grow too big, like graphics, pictures, sounds, and videos.
