Simulate the Sidebar-Side Menu with the help of Screen 2 in MIT App Inventor 2 and AppToMarket.

Unfortunaly i don't have much time to test it the next days, but i surely put your tutorial into my favourites!

One thought on first sight: it would be nice to make the sidebar semi-transparent, do you think this is possible?

Yes, you can change the color of the arrangement to be transparent

Removing dimmable in mycustomtheme.xml <item name="android:backgroundDimEnabled">false</item> to <item name="android:backgroundDimEnabled">true</item>

This is great. Already using it in one of my app not as a side menu but for superimposing help menu on the screen. Very neat.
