Can anyone tell me the easiest way to connect MiT App Inventor to SQL Server DB or if there are easier options via other app designer companies!

Is this the same for connecting to a Microsoft SQL Server database? ("not" MySQL?)

e.g. an MS SQL Server database not being served up, but sitting in a file on the local network somewhere? Database generated by Windows application.

my example uses MySQL as database, for Microsoft SQL server you might be able to adjust the interface to your needs...after you get it running, you might want to provide your solution to the community
