True MQTT 'connectivity' Blocks, say  'MQTT-Publisher' and 'MQTT-Subscriber' would certainly boost AI into the world of IoT.
As MQTT is such a simple protocol, it can be used by almost everyone, without the need of strange policies and API-Keys or what so ever. It just works.

Opening the MQTT-world to everybody would allow them to easily connect to sensors and actors in a true publish-subscriber pattern.

State-of-the-Art:
Today, if one wants to unite MQTT and AI, a cumbersome and horrible way via WebView and a JavaScript is the only possibility. However, this is not really explicable for noobs, that would like to program with AI (and some Sensors accessible via MQTT). And worst of all: It is polling! Autsch.

Please allow AI to make the jump MQTT, an open technology with a great future.

you could write your own extension and create some blocks yourself...
to find Android snippets, just do a Google search, for example http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9562316/basic-steps-for-using-mqtt-in-android

more information about how to create an extension see here https://groups.google.com/d/msg/mitappinventortest/Ip2AX036d0U/5NJlAEbFCgAJ
however that will be more advanced and will require some Java skills...
