Bluetooth connection error 507

I am trying to connect via bluetooth to other android phones but  were unsuccessful.even though correct mac address of the bluetooth was  given ,connection error 507 occurred where it was asked the device to be  connected to be turned on even though it was. we even tried opening  several other bluetooth apps made by app inventor 2 and the other  versions but still the connection did not occur. can someone please  guide me.
