Any news regarding the release of the IOS version?
will it be in the spring?

The latest info regarding App Inventor that will include ios is here See http://doesappinventorrunonios.com Most of the work is complete or nearly complete; it is being debugged.
MIT will not release this until it is thoroughly tested and there are still issues, some technical, so with Apple's terms.. There will be an announcement. It will be ready when it is ready.
My expectation is ios might be available in the FALL 2009 or by the end of the year. Someone might have better information.
