HOWTO: Upload Image to Google Drive using base64 and Google Apps Script Web App

Hi,

From the below link of old post we know that we could upload an image to Google folder using App Inventor image picker & App Script. But how could I modify the code so that instead of selecting picture from a phone saved folder, I want to capture the image straight away from my camera and post it on google drive. Anyone?

Thanks Tim. One last question. How do I shrink the pic before send? Seems like 5mb for each pic is huge.

If the pictures are big in the first place, you might consider reducing their dimensions - this is what a lot of social media does automatically.

To reduce the size of an image in-app, you will need an extension:
