Please reinstall the setup software:  FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW EXACTLY, DO NOT SKIP OR ALTER ANY STEPS:

I suggest you try to reinstall the software and see if it still happens, and then, PLEASE report back here and let us know if it fixed your problem.  Please follow these steps.
  1. Close down everything on your computer and REBOOT.
  2. After the reboot, uninstall the software from the icon in the App Inventor folder... it'll be uninstall.exe.
  3. REBOOT AGAIN.  To be SURE, go to your  Program Files folder and make sure the folder for AppInventor is gone.  If not, please delete it before running the setup software.
  4. Go to the setup link (setup software), and reinstall the App Inventor software.  DO NOT CHANGE THE DEFAULTS THAT ARE PROVIDED BY THE SETUP SOFTWARE SUCH AS FOLDER ETC.  Don't run an older setup file version that you might have saved to the downloads folder, but use the current one from the link above.
  5. After the setup is finished...REBOOT AGAIN
  6. Then, try going to the App Inventor site and try loading the emulator again.

That should fix your issue, but make SURE you come back here and reply back so we know it worked, or didn't work.

Also, the aistarter is only a debugger called from
your web browser at http://ai2.appinventor.mit.edu

You have to be in a project at that address to use aistarter.

You should not have to run AIStarter... it should run automatically when Windows starts up.  Isn't it doing that?

When you want to use the emulator, you click on Connect, then Emulator from the main menu in the AI User Interface.

As long as AIStarter is running, you just leave it running int he background.  Then just use the Connect menu inside of AI2 and you should get the emulator.

What is the name of your App Inventor Project?
Show us a screen shot of the Designer.

To. Enis,

You told me that aiStarter should run automatically when Windows starts up.
But it isn't doing that. So when I click the [Connect]-[Emulator] menu, App Inventor shows me a message just like this.

And I have little question. Dose it matter? aiStarter running when Windows start up?
Cause I understand that running the aiStarter before click the [Emulator] menu.

To. Abraham Getzler

This is my project screen shot of Designer.

I asked my question to make sure you were using the
ai2 web site properly.  You are.

Here's a good clear video on how to fix most aistarter problems ...

If your Windows task bar shows the aiStarter icon, you can start the emulator using Connect>Emulator without separately starting aiStarter.

if that icon is not on your task bar, your installation probably did not proceed properly and you need to uninstall and then re-install.

Steve
