Use App Inventor together with IFTTT to send an email, or to toggle your WeMo Switch, or ... (endless possibilities).

Sending an email programmatically without user intervention from within an App Inventor app is no simple task. There are different solutions available, but these are more advanced, because these require setting up a php server or using the web component together with OAuth.

The solution presented here is very easy and you can set this up in 15 minutes only.

Enjoy!

Can you ask if IFTTT can add a 4th Value (Value4) so we can have To/Subject/Body/AND Attachment?

(I don't do Twitter or FB !)

just use a fix Subject (or a fix To address) and use one of the 3 values for the link to the attachment
