to MIT App Inventor Forum
I scanned my MIT AppInventor 2 app with VirusTotal (just because) and it returned that one of the AV scanners (WhiteArmor) detected a virus in the app called PUP.HighConfidence. I did the same thing with another test app and VirusTotal did the same thing. Could you please fix this ASAP? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately this is not something we can fix, at least not without a significant rewrite/rearchitecting of App Inventor. The authors of these virus scanners don't tell us what criteria they use to flag us (imagine if virus writers knew what to do to avoid being detected!). Once upon a time some folks decided to write a malware-like app with App Inventor and now everyone gets penalized by their behavior.
