Hi

Please can you update on whether it is possible to send pronto hex codes in the Inventor using my Note3's IR blaster?

There is an app called powerIR (aka Samsung URC) that allows hex codes to be assigned to android screen IR remote button.

I can already control my stereo using my android IR blaster (instead of the actual remote) by touching this android screen  button but I now hope to use an NFC tag to turn on the stereo (and start playing google music - which I can already do).  I am told that I may be able to send and NFC tag "INTENT" to do this.

Bit ambitious?  A year ago a similar question was asked when it was said the Inventor doesn't do this at that time (17/4/14).  Its a year on and so I wondered if its now possible?

This fellow did it in Java ...

For Ai2, you would have to enhance that Java code to be triggered through the Activity Starter.
