Is there a way to have access from within App Inventor on how Permissions are added and based on which components?
Solutions provided on this forum, seems to require some programming knowledge; I thought that App Inventor is a Program for Non-programmers. On the other hand the"App to Market" solution apparently doesn't work with nb164.
Any Help please? For more details on my problem see"android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Unwanted)". Tks.

Hello Youssef

The Manifest is built automatically by App Inventor based on the requirements of the app components used, there is no User input/edit facility.

If you are saying that you think your app is not using any components that would require WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, please post your Project File here so that we can figure out what is going wrong.

Lists are things in memory, therefore they should not cause this.
But maybe your TinyDB does. It needs external storage.
Cheers, Ghica.

Neither List nor Tinydb have need read or write permissions.

Canvas does need permission WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
