Hi,

Is it possible to restore an AppInventor project that a student has recently deleted?

Thanks.

Chris.

If the Project was deleted from the My Projects screen using the Delete Project button and the user pressed OK on the popup that followed; the Project is gone forever. The OK safeguard is intended to prevent inadvertent deletion of projects.

Does the student have an aia file that he/she should should have been saving routinely?  Was the Project saved as a copy to the MIT server using   Projects > Save project as ..; ?
If either is true, the student can partially recover.

Hopefully the student has an aia?     No?   Well, all is not lost.  The student probably remembers most of what was coded and now knows what needs to be done.  With what was learned coding the original, the  new project might even be better than the original ... I hope.  Please save aia source files regularly ...what the AI2 experts do routinely because there is no undo function in App Inventor.

Sorry Chris, gone is gone.

Regards,
Steve
