his MAC is FF:FF:00:00:37:37 and the name is ITAG
you use it like alarm for some object, for retain on control or other programmed function on various app available on google play .
anyway a nice toy and a nice way of entertainment for who want invent some app with the mit app inventor.
the problem is that when I try to connect it the result is a black screen, the mit app stay stuck in this way till I close the ITAG turning it off.

do you use the test server at http://ai2-test.appinventor.mit.edu and the BLE component?

It would really help if you provided a screenshot of your relevant blocks, so we can see what you are trying to do, and where the problem may be.

I've used the bltt test client for this application, the ITAG is connected by request from his relative app.
but anyway neither client or master* works with this rig.
here are the sketch that I've used for test.
the master test sketch is useless in this case, the rig isn't capable to invoke a connection first .

ps wich is the difference between the standard app inventor site and the one that you sugggest me ?

the Bluetooth component does not support BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy)
but there is a test server available to test the new BLE component, which will be released soon, for more information see here https://groups.google.com/d/msg/mitappinventortest/clnIqdy9OWM/XnOxy0GDEQAJ
