Has anyone experienced the onscreen emulator working and then it stops and acts like the aiStarter is not running. Then you have to reinstall aiStarter to get it running again, a reset will not work.

No, I'm working with AIStarter for many years. Sometime it may stop working, then you should press Ctrl + C (together) to quit the process. After that restart AIStarter.

Look in Windows Task Manager for extra leftover copies of adb.exe running, that you might have to kill.
