Once installed application conflicts and how to fix it?

Uninstall the previous version, and then the new one should install.

I'm guessing the the two projects were created under two different user accounts, which would cause the signatures to not match.

This also occurs when you manually rename an apk on the computer and try to install that on the device after a previous install.

As Dr. Abelson wrote, uninstalling the first app should take care of it.
