Texting componant > ReceivingEnabled > Foreground

I have a texting while driving app I am working on that contains a Texting componant.

When I select Foreground from the list of options in the ReceivingEnabled dropdown list of the Texting componant does that mean that as long as the app is running even if I open another app I will still receive text messages and the text automatic text message I have set up will automatically be sent?

 when the application is not running they will be queued and a notification displayed to the user.                     

however the Google Voice enhancement works only in the United States

Thank you Taifun. I did read the documentation but it wasn't clear to me so I wanted to get some clarification. And thank you for the link to your work around. What you say there now makes sense why my app isn't working when the phone goes to sleep. I will check out the work around and see what happens.
