I have developed an app which uses the camera to log a checkpoint photo.  The app was working well until yesterday. At about the same time I published it to google play store the camera stopped working (I first noticed the problem when i downloaded it from there).

After taking the picture and pressing OK I got the error 201: The Camera did not return an image.
I tried installing on a different phone - same issue.

Today I have created a simple app to press button and capture photo. I installed via the QRCode and got the same error. (can't use the companion at work)

Is this a problem with App Inventor?
Is it a permissions thing? If so how do I change it?

Identity

  • find accounts on the device
Location
  • access extra location provider commands
  • precise location (GPS and network-based)
  • approximate location (network-based)
Wi-Fi connection information
  • view Wi-Fi connections
Other
  • use accounts on the device
  • act as the Account Manager Service

  • mock location sources for testing

This is the app on play store (still alpha so please go easy on me)

that's the memory issue, the developers are already working on
we will have to wait, until this is fixed
