Helo,

I am trying to use the DoScan method of the Barcode Scanner when a button is pressed, and then I assign the result to a variable for manipulation.

But every time I press the Scan_QR button, I get the following error on my phone:

Permission Denial: starting Intent { act=com.google.zxing.client.android.SCAN cmp=com.motorola.migrate/com.google.zxing.client.android.CaptureActivity } from ProcessRecord{42d62fe0 31237:edu.mit.appinventor.aicompanion3/u0a109} (pid=31237, uid=10109) not exported from uid 10090

Any help?

JL

I just tested this on Nexus 5 running Android 5.0.1 and it worked fine, example project attached.
Do you have the Barcode Scanner app from ZXing installed?
