Como criar um banco de dados de fotos

Boa tarde, criei um aplicativo que baixa fotos de um link determinado, porem quero que colocar um banco de dados temporário para estas fotos, por exemplo quando eu clicar para carregar a foto ele crie um banco de dados ou temporário e armazene as fotos, dai na proxima vez que eu clicar ele nao baixe novamente a imagem, e quero criar um botão com uma forma de limpar o temporário. Sendo assim quando eu limpar ele vai baixar novamente as imagens.
