Developed with input from over 40 active-duty Marines, First to Fight is an urban combat game set in a war-torn 2006 Beirut. As the head of a four-man Marine fire team, you must lead your RTFA (Ready Team Fire Assist) squad through six hectic missions subdivided into 22 levels. Your three teammates consist of a SAW gunner (equipped with an M249 machinegun), an assistant gunner, and a rifleman. You can't directly control these soldiers, but you can individually or collectively order them to perform specific tasks, such as "Go To," "Form Up," and "Give Suppressing Fire." When breaching a closed room, you can also direct them to execute a Takedown (or Frag Takedown) maneuver to minimize your exposure to enemy fire. There are some built-in tutorials explaining the procedures, but they're non-interactive, and like the game's coarsely animated FMV cutscenes, largely forgettable.
Command your forces on the strategic level, issuing orders to battalion or regimental-sized units to attack or defend, and allocate air or artillery support. Then fight out the resulting engagements in a highly-detailed, real-time simulation of World War II tactical combat. The results of the tactical battle determine who controls each area, and where they can move at the strategic level.
In the wake of Straub's demise, the undead army is unleashed all across Europe. United States President Harry S. Truman authorizes Rideau, now General, to form the Bureau of Archaic Technologies, a special task force consisting of global elite Allied agents, in order to combat the new threat. Unable to reassemble the Sword of Barbarossa on their own, Marie and Drostan deduce that their only option is to find the legendary forge of Thule. Jefferson, now promoted to Major, leads the team to New Swabia, Antarctica, in search of the forge upon discovery of increased Nazi activity in the region. Rideau leads a team of new Bureau recruits to transport the pieces of the Sword by different routes to New Swabia. The B.A.T. operatives head to a port at Málaga, Spain, and board a ship across the Atlantic Ocean. Along the way, they encounter resistance from the undead army, but manage to prevail. At New Swabia, the crew find the forge, and upon successful deciphering of ancient Thulian runes, they finally reassemble the Sword after Rideau delivers the remaining pieces. Afterwards, the crew battles against the Guardian of the forge, and emerges victorious. The four manage to escape the forge as it collapses, but unbeknownst to them, Geistkraft energy begins to flow intensively beneath the area.
The battle of Stalingrad was a turning point of the Second World War and one of the most famous battle of the military history. The battle begun on summer 1942 and the Soviet Red Army faced the German army for the control of Volga and Don rivers region. The military operations were focused in the symbolic city of Stalingrad destroyed by the intense German bombing. The ruins of the city became the theater of brutal and fierce close quarters combats. One of the most important German target was the control of the industrial area including the huge tractor factory, converted during the war to the production of T-34 tanks, destroyed by bombers and artillery fire. On November 1942, the Soviets launched the large flanking maneuver to surround the Wehrmacht forces in Stalingrad that ended with the surrender of German Troops in the first months of 1943. The victory obtained by Red Army was the starting point of Soviets offensive that brought them to Berlin in 1945.
