I have a video file setup and active. When I try to stream it in my local network I get this message

Unsupported Media Type

The server isn't quite sure what you wanted to receive from it.

using " http:192.168.1.113:8080/THE_CROODS.dtsc " is this right?

Hello,

This is indeed the expected response from this url. Depending on the
type of video you want to receive, a different url is needed. For
flash video for example, the following url should give better results:

http://192.168.1.113:8080/the_croods.flv

As a small explanation: the .dtsc files generated are only used
internally by the server, but will not be recognized by any video
player. We have designed this format ourselves, and optimized it for
seeking and easy access.

I deleted the original file for The_CROODS.flv and left the THE_CROODS.dtsc on the server.
I tried both the .dtsc and .flv and still got the

Unsupported Media Type

The server isn't quite sure what you wanted to receive from it.
On a side note. When I  click on the embed file on the server a try in view it in the preview window, the file continuously buffers and doesn't play. I don't know if this has anything to do with the other problem?

Hello,

There might be something wrong with the configurations, could you send us your config.json? With it we can check the configurations and see if something is off.

It should be located in the folder from which you are running MistServer.

With kind regards,

I found the config.json in different directory than Mistserver is in. I attached a copy of it on a notepad.

Hello,

To acces the stream through mistserver, what you need to ask for is
the name of the stream you have given in the LSP, in your case
"thecroods"

e.g.:

http://<host>:<port>/thecroods.flv

Regards,
Erik
