Muslim American youth specifically face obstacles that threaten their religious identities in addition to the myriad of adolescent challenges faced by teenagers everywhere every day. Because of this, and after extensive research, the iBelong! project team has put together a top-notch state-of-the-art after school program to provide Muslim Youth (aged 12-17) with the environment they need while providing them with the opportunity to do things that they love. The program aims to help teenagers positively develop their skills, interpersonal relationships and discover talents that make each one of them so exceptional. iBelong will also strive to integrate teens with their local community thru service activities, promoting civic engagement and a sense of belonging in American society.
