Important MIST Bball Information!

Asalamualaykum,

TOMORROW is MIST Brother's Bball and Sunday is Sister's Bball.


Items that you MUST have in order to play:

• Bball team waiver (if you have not mailed it in, BRING it on the day of)
• School ID -- if you do not present a school ID, you will NOT be allowed to play
• Coach -- if you don't have school IDs because you are either from a private school without IDs or you have joined another school's MSA, you MUST have a coach present to verify that you are allowed to play.

Failure to present these essential items will disqualify your school.

Please get to the court at 9am, the games will begin at 9:30 am Inshallah.
 
The tournament will take place at the Garrison Gymnasium at the University of Houston -- http://www.uh.edu/campus_map/buildings/GAR.php

- exit Scott
- turn right on Scott
- turn left at Holman
- turn left into parking lot 15C

We will be giving teams a break for lunch where you may go out and buy food, we will also order pizza and you can pay by the slice.

Be sure to take a look at these other rules that will be enforced:

• Every team will play two pre-playoff games. 12 teams will the best records will move on to the playoffs. If two teams have the same record, point differential will be looked at.
• Any cursing will be a technical foul which results in automatic two points and the ball for the other team.
• Dress code: Please abide by Islamic dress code rules. Girls who wear shorts are required to cover until the knees.
• Any fights will result in disqualification of player from MIST Basketball and from the Tournament. We will enforce this rule.
  

SISTERS: Please remember that there will be a security camera in the gym, so please dress accordingly.
