A few very important announcements:

[1] Short Film turn in will be extended
[2] MIST Basketball will be held the weekend before MIST
[3] MIST Bowl Packets are UP!
[4] Refunds

[1] Short Film turn in will be extended.
The new submission date is February 28th, 2009

All films must be postmarked by February 28th to

NOTE: No musical instruments can be used except for the Dhaff.
Nasheeds, acapella, and the like are allowed. If your film contains
music it will not be viewed to MIST audiences and will have major
points deducted.

[2] MIST Basketball will be held the weekend before MIST
on March 7th and 8th in the Garrison Gymnasium at the University of
Houston (same place as last year)

Brothers's Bball will be on Saturday March 7th
Sisters's Bball will be on Sunday March 8th

ALL Team members MUST bring a school ID (or you will not be allowed to
play)
If you are competing from a private school with no school ID, or you
are an independent member merged with another MSA, a coach must be
onsight to confirm that you are a part of that MSA.

All schools should report to the gymnasium for check in between 8am -
9am.

Sisters: Please be aware that there is a security camera in the
gymnasium, so dress accordingly.

[4] Registration Refunds!

If you have emailed us earlier about receiving a refund and have not
gotten a reply, we do apologize. Please email mist....@gmail.com
your paypal payment receipt confirming your total payment, along with
the details of the refund.

On the Subject line please include "PLEASE REFUND NAME OF STUDENT -
SCHOOL"
